Gibraltar Point Education Centre
Gibraltar Point Education Centre provides a wide range of activities ranging from sea dipping and freshwater sampling, to sand dune transects and practical conservation work. The Centre also provides a huge range of free activities for the whole family.

Gibraltar Point celebrates 70 years wild with launch of new book: The Story of Gibraltar Point
Gibraltar Point, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust’s first nature reserve, was established on 10 December 1948 in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council.
World first for Gibraltar Point oystercatchers
Wardens at Gibraltar Point had to take ground-breaking action to prevent the loss of a rare oystercatcher nest to flooding. Their fast work and gamble paid off!

Managing our reserves
During my placement I have been lucky to have visited some of the Trust’s reserves and find out what goes in to managing them as special sites for nature.
